In my more than 35 years, I have never been so embarrassed to be a citizen
of the USA as I am today. The ongoing bombings of Iraq and Yugoslavia are
shameful. The use of uranium in the missles is horrendous. Also, in my
heart of hearts, I believe that the military intentionally bombed the
Chinese embassy. I'm not so naive to think that these are the only
atrocities committed by the US gov't. It is just scary to me that it is
SO blatant.
Many of my friends are not worried about this bombing. They say that it
will blow over. I think China is a major force and we should expect
some type of MAJOR retaliation. Am I being pessimistic or realistic?
