5th Himalayan Language Symposium 13-15 September, 1999, Kathmandu, Nepal The Himalayan Language Symposium is an open international forum where scholars exchange the results of their research with others working on related issues in the same geographical area. The symposium for 1999 will be held in Nepal from 13 to 15 September. The event will be jointly sponsored by the Central Department of Linguistics, Tribhuvan University; the Royal Nepal Academy; and the Linguistic Society of Nepal.
