Here is advance notice of the theme of the upcoming 2001 SCSU conference.
(I just went to this year's conference this year at SCSU   "Women of
African Descent: Reaching Across the Diaspora" on Oct. 6 - 7, 2000.  Among
the featured speakers were Beverly Guy-Sheftall,Rumbi Mabuwa, Tess
Onwueme,Kate Rushin, Barbara Smith.  It  was great).
