The Ethnic Studies and Human Sexuality Studies Programs at San Francisco
State University invites applications for a full-time, Assistant
Professor, tenure-track position (search #_________) to commence Fall,
2002.

DESCRIPTION:   Tenure-track position with a specialization in minority
sexualities and sexual migration.  Duties include undergraduate
teaching, the opportunity for graduate-level teaching, and research
experience in the candidate�s area of specialization.  Teaching
responsibilities will include any combination of the following: Minority
sexualities, sexual migration, reproductive rights, and courses in the
candidate�s area of specialization.  While we are specifically searching
in these areas, candidates with expertise in fields related to gender
and sexuality issues within minority communities are invited to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Ph.D. or terminal degree in field must be completed by
time of the appointment.  (Verification of completed degree or letter
from degree-supervisor indicating date of completion is required).

RANK AND SALARY:  Assistant Professor.  Salary commensurate with
starting rank and qualifications and will be fully competitive.
