How Women's and Men's "Votes" Are Counted by the One that Counts - Women and Fair Men Uniting Globally on Gender Balance in True Government To Prevent a Chain of Events that Could Otherwise Lead to World Destruction After the Mostly-Monogender Parties Have "Counted" their "Votes" and "Seats" in the Many Mostly-Monogenderments, What Then? (Note: This message is an update of an earlier message sent to newsgroups and mailing lists. It has been updated slightly now that US so-called "election" results have been "tabulated" by the beancounters, The US $election is discussed in detail, among others. But what finally is Counted and Counts remains Within Us All Around the World, and to Come. Feel free to copy and post.) So called "elections" have been occurring or are about to be held in many countries around the world: for example, in the United States, Turkey, Israel, Slovenia, Nepal and South Korea, and recent elections include Sweden, Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Iraq and Pakistan, among many others. France had a highly controversial event earlier in 2002. But remember, that although All People Are Created politically Equal, not all "elections" are created politically equal. Some are more real; others are exercises in the pattern of a thousands-year-old, now cumulatively critically dangerous human self-deception, (but, with your assistance, can be changed right now, and thereby save the world): Imbalance of the Genders in Political Office. Does the One Within You Count All These Elections as Equally Valid? In still far too many countries around the world, not enough women were on the tickets that by nature could be roughly around 50-50 on gender. Gender-skewed domination, exclusion and money, more than service-oriented talent and wisdom, dictated the collective result. For the moment, this is shamefully true in many so-called advanced countries, such as the US, and Britain most dangerously and ironically, but also many others. US $election Update: Yesterday's low turnout US "results" were vivid example: The 2002 US legislative election$ showed utterly NO PROGRESS of severerly underrepresented US women overall. The presence of women was an absurd 13% prior to the "vote" and an absurd 13% in its aftermath. But ominously, many of the once again 13% remaining token number "$elected" are those most comfortable in the role of dominatrix for party rather than true democratress for her gender, her country and her world. Of course, since who else could willingly function among the office-holding 87% men holding office while most Americans won't vote anymore, and pretend her gender and the men who love and respect her gender, are being represented? Here is the scary "result" of the US political game -- (that is, if you were to count the US performance a valid election:) A few Partified, Tokenized, Dominatrixized Women who were recently willing to authorize war without an elected Executive, such as Dianne Feinstein, Susan Collins and Hillary Clinton remained in their seats and were joined by the potential hawk Elizabeth Dole, while watching women more typical of most women in seeking to prevent war, such as Connie Morella, Cynthia McKinney, and Patsy Mink (who died of disease due to the stress of fighting the regressive male leadership in her party and its resulting exodus of liberals into 3rd parties or non-voting), lose seats to men willing to be part of the dominating 87%. Thus, The male-corporate dominated, partified American political system is both aggressivizing a few token women and losing its more peace-capable women from national political office, while failing to adequately represent women in relations to their numbers in the US population in any coherent way. Because of its implications for human progress, many of the most educated fair men and women worldwide, who have striven successfully to bring women into real government in other countries, are simply unwilling to call what is happening in the US "government" anymore, even though some dominatrix-ridden US women's groups are deluding themselves that a few more women governors, (a balance of 6-42) more ofen Republican, signifies progress for American women. But, of course, the US women and their men in office all could be redeemed, with just a little help from all concerned people around the world. As usual, it is believed that about 70% of the eligible American electorate, thus, the majority of the country, did not vote. This included most women, minorities and liberal men, who were likely recalling their 2000 disenfranchisement by the major parties when the so-called Supreme Court and so-called Congress chose the anachronistic Electoral College over the people. with the approval of all the white male Presidential candidates , the 87% male joint session, and the handful of token women Senators. These about 70% again felt the 2002 exercise again too untrustworthy, corrupt, and too severely lacking in women and minorities among the partyist candidate offerings, to feign cooperation or participation with such a bogus and unrepresentative exercise. Many fear that if they show up at all, their votes will again be deliberately uncounted by the mostly-monogender parties, who have proven themselves untrustworthy in every important respect. But this time, the disenfranchised are not illiterate kitchen servants, indentured laborers and slaves -- they are literate women and men telling the whole world the truth by fax and over the Internet. Like people in many mostly-monogenderments, the American people are not apathetic - they are cynical and trapped, with little information from more democratic and gender balanced countries reaching their mostly-male-corporate run televisions, radios or newspapers. Therefore, the need for office-holders and citizens from gender balanced, less party-controlled countries to reach out to Americans is becoming extreme and paramount for world safety. And, equally dangerous with the US imbalance, although many other major and global organizations have, the so-called United Nations ignores its own voting gender imbalance, and has not publically and officially debated or articulated a peace-viable minimum on gender balance yet. It does not even publish a ranking of gender balance of member countries on its website. Not surprisinly, it harbors many countries, large and small, which are not representing their women, nor their women-respecting-men, in political office, in true government. The situation has lead to the continued recognition of many non-democracies that are threatening each other as well as their own people and decisions that could create a chain of events that could easily provoke nuclear war or bioterrorism and an end to human life on earth. That is, if people regard the so-called UN as if it really united anything but mostly-genderist men, and any of these regimes and mostly-monogenderments as real governments. None of these entities are real yet, in the sense of enacting democracy, peace or True Government. But, True Government(s) do(es) already exist around the world: On the bright side, remember that men and women in many countries (all 5 countries of Scandinavia, much of Europe including Germany and the Netherlands, Costa Rica, France, South Africa, Mozambique, and many others) and some of the largest parties in Europe, India and other countries, would not allow themselves to vote the "choices" of gender unbalanced parties, tickets and election processes. According to their wiser law and/or party by-laws which value and monitor gender balance, mostly-monogender tickets and outcomes would be illegal, invalid, and considered socially disturbed, unhuman and unacceptable. Many countries, states and provinces now have or are near gender balances between 36-64 in Europe, Central and South America and Africa, and up to near 50-50 (in Scandinavia, etc), and thousands of cities and county jurisdictions have achieved this in France, China, India (which also has been considering gender balance laws in the national legislature with public sit ins and protests) the US, and a large number of countries worldover, too. Thousands of global political parties, unions and universities monitor themselves for and require an acceptable range of roughly equal gender balance in office and elections. They understand that democracy and any lasting peace can no longer exist without it. So, what about the polling process where you live? Are you preparing to vote, or did you just vote in an "election" that the leading countries of peace in the world would consider inhuman, insulting to both women and men who respect each other, dangerous to democracy and peace, and absurd? Whether intentional or defacto and habitual, has your "choice" been preselected and unbalanced, to be a collectively misogynist and overaggressive one for your country, and for your world, when all the office-"winners" are seated? Certainly, in an interconnected world, no country can afford to be smug: is your own country more balanced but continuing to diplomatically recognize mostly-monogenderments where democracy has clearly come to a halt, without clearly, forthrightly and directly raising the issue of gender imbalance. It can easily be raised in direct outreach via Internet and fax, to the multitude of citizens trapped in mostly-monogenderments whose media and politicians have gone to great lengths to keep them uninformed about these issues. Certainly, it would be much cheaper for the members of the Swedish Riksdag, with some French, Dutch, German and Costa Rican officeholders to all fly to Washington and hold a session to demonstrate gender balance, than it will be for them to try to function in an environmentally unlivable world that has had a thermonuclear blast in the Middle East or has become a crippled fortress on guard always against the regressed, ignorant and despairing that are always plentiful under a mostly-monogenderist world political system. Once again, with the US's most recent debacle, the $elected results in many countries is not even near the 75% representatively balanced range (at least 37.5% seats of each gender) considered capable of maintaining both peace and prosperity for more than a few generations. It is again now, in too many places, cumulatively dangerously imbalanced, and threatens global war and collapse. The current global outcome is a mere 14% female and 86% male (this is actually slightly better than the 13% and 87% in the US, where, amazingly, we repeat, balance of gender in office was not raised by ANY PARTY as a major campaign issue for the Nov. 5th so-called election.) The too few women candidates/office-holders, even if slightly more than in the last pseudo-election, will remain tokens and become true enemies of the women of their country and the world, unless they empower themselves national and internationally at once, declare themselves independent of party on this matter, in the days just before, during and immediately after the $election$. Any peaceful future requires that they join forces, no matter what their current party label and campaign outcome, across state and especially across national boundaries, to publically insist, with intelligent women and men of not just their own country but the whole world as their partners and champions, on roughly equal gender balance in all parties in order for ANYONE to be seated and remain in office. and for any party or regime to gain the national, and global, respect and support of women and scores of millions of fair, fully human men around the world.) In reality, the US "results" are only slightly better than gender-imbalanced Iraq's regime, this is nowhere near the at least 37.5% of each gender many observers now believe to be the critical 75%-balanced and gender shared presence necessary for the balance of prosperity and peace. Yet ALL these countries have more than enough capable women, and there ARE many men around the world who will partner and champion them - to do as the women and men in Scandinavia did decades ago (and many more countries like Costa Rica and France since), and insist that both genders be fully represented if real government is to function, and engage in diplomacy with other countries that also must balance to deserve the name government. This is the moment for the transformation. especially in the context of global community that includes scores of millions of women and commercial media-disgusted men on the Internet, and millions more daily becoming literate and connected. Lacking this worldwide and public outreach and insistence, the resulting regimes of mostly-monogender $elections are already having increasingly ominous outcomes - both officialdoms and populations become increasingly self-deluded, prone to attack from the dissatisfied and violent within and without, imbalanced, less prosperous, more stressed or diseased and unable to care for the sick, deficient in family spousal mutual respect in raising children together, unsafe, insecure, reactive and divided in priorities and functioning while often pretending a unity that cannot convince or sustain under such conditions. Some such regimes are engaging in war-mongering and preparations for self-destructive battle that could trigger a planetary collapse. If one willingly condones or recognizes such $elections, can the world much longer sustain itself at all, let alone in real peace and environmental harmony? THE REAL COUNTING BY THE ONE THAT COUNTS WITHIN US ALL There can be little doubt that "votes" of such pseudo-elections will be cancelled by the One of all Her-His-story, in one of the following ways or likely scenarios, depending on your personal and humanity's collective willingness to face the situation at all, slowly or quickly: 1. These $elected pseudo-governments and the unhealed unrest they exascerbate will destroy most or all of the world, This will only happen, however, if enough sleeping self-deluders worldwide publically regard these pseudo-government monogenderments as real governments, and willingly participate in such peace-prohibiting and democracy-incapable mostly-monogender "choices", "counts", processes and recognitions. Also, the so-called UN must continue to pseudofunction and fail to achieve or reorganize with balance of gender in the world community, and remain a mostly-monogenderment unreformed by other organizations and activists, such as the equally important IPU and many others mentioned below, for this horrific result to happen. But, under current conditions of world denial about the importance of gender balance, it does appear imminent to many. 2. Many pseudo-governments $elected will be paralyzed to act intelligently on any issue, and, in the interim, will disable themselves from within via political intrique, marital and family stress and tragedy, tendencies toward fascism followed quickly by votes of no confidence, impeachment/coup and contra-coup, etc. and fall. Nature may also enter in, with increasingly ominous disasters that will affect all the world and perhaps especially these countries. However, on the upside for these countries, eventual true gender balanced governments will occur as a "last resort", but only after some very trying and unusual events. The so-called UN will be in a state of confusion, until it, too, heeds the IPU gender balance warnings, and eventually achieves gender balanced true functioning as a model of gender balance and racial and ethnic reconciliation. 3. Electorate turn-outs will be so low or repeatedly marginal that thinking people worldwide will doubt and decry the representative validity of results, as scores of thinking millions do already. Most of the world will regard their planet as in a state of either corporate male-fascism or chaos and anarchy, or cycles of both. Scenario 1 or 2 will occur. 4. "Election" fraud and political machinations will be heightened, especially with many close races where the small voting pool will be confounded as to which insufficiently desirable candidate/party combinations to vote for. This already occurred in the mostly-monogender $elections of the US in 2000 and France in 2002, and is becoming a worldwide trend. Scores of millions worldwide questioned the validity of those outcomes, and still do. Scenario 1 or 2 will occur. 5. Scores of millions will view the $elections as without real choice: major partie$ will be seen as a merged male-corporate Uniparty mon(ey)ster with two or a few monstrous mostly-monogender, mostly-monoracial heads, serving a "military-industrial complex", as in the US. Or there will be only one party with no other parties allowed, as in many less subtle monogender, women and minority oppressive "Strong-Man" oligarchies and dictatorships, such as the both self and neighbor threatening situation of Iraq. The word election will cease to have any real meaning. Scenario 1 or 2 will occur. 6. None of the above, and instead, GENDERED BALANCED TRUE GOVERNMENT(S) are rapidly recognized as the true and only capable world leaders for both peace and prosperity, indeed any future at all. In this outcome and scenario, --- The already present (at universities, unions, many organizations such as the IPU and others listed below, and the thinking public) worldwide True Government(s) of humanity will openly discuss and insist on centuries overdue political gender balance, as an urgent worldwide necessity. They will publically monitor and insist on it in legislatures, executives and judiciaries, in order to give happy allegiance to/recognize any officialdom or election process as true government, similar to that which exists already in many peace culture countries such as Denmark, Costa Rica, Finland, South Africa, Sweden, much of France (the Parite law), states like California, and many others places. In this best option, the mostly-monogenderments will willingly and rapidly self-transform, thereby preventing the unnecessary troubles, with the help of female colleagues, wives and daughters, staff, etc. This will lead to gender balanced truth and reconciliation, also including reparation to minorities and people who have been severely affected by domination systems worldwide, as well as new blessings to a now redeemed majority. New, gender balanced and minority-majority reconciling elections will be held as special elections in many places. The Everpresent One, who is also within the hearts of all humankind, female and male, will manifest Peace and Abundant Joy. The future of humanity will be restored, and prosperous and beautiful beyond our wildest expectations. Which choice is your preference? See that you vote. (and where needed, NOT vote), and/or count votes accordingly, and make every day a special election day on this issue until human balance and peace are secured. Your wisdom in doing so is the best and likely only way to prevent major, potentially final disasters. that arise from denial and illusion about the presence of a gender-presence crisis in leadership, and help bring about real government worldwide swiftly. If you have voted already among mostly monogenderist "choices" and regret the mostly-monogenderist/token-coopted or dominatrix few females results, that will soon find themselves wearing official title as the world approaches the final and ultimate dangers of cumulative imbalance, it's STILL probably NOT TOO LATE. Simply derecognize or renounce the $election processes and their results where needed, on grounds of obvious insufficiency in gender and representative fully human balance. Even after the "$election" is over, call quickly for real, peace-capable balance of the genders in office to be worthy of the name true election, and the name government, and worthy of our endowed politically equal and gender-balanced collective human nature. This can be achieved by publically asking for voluntary baton passing among excess office-holding men to female colleagues, associated and family members, to achieve the 37.5% minimum of each gender in office, followed by special elections to insure democratic and popular best choice among enough women candidates to insure the male-female balance, as well as among men who have had opportunity to endorse and publically discuss the necessity of balance. Consider this and ask for this, especially for "wealthy" and "powerful" countries and in global organizations such as the so-called United but in fact gender dominating/dividing Nations, and your and all Votes will be Recounted, Accounted, and the Balance that keeps the Earth able to support Life and experience the Universe, will quickly be Righted Everywhere, by the Everbalanced and Balancing One, Who does all the most important Counting With Us, Through Us, Within Us and For Us, afterall.
