Study along side other biologists, writers and artists during the height =
of the 2006 Mojave Desert blooming season. This will be an =
interdisciplinary weekend-long intensive field workshop focusing on =
professional illustrator skill development including observation, =
keying-out, dissection, use of watercolors and journal-keeping in order =
to better convey botanical form and function. College credit optional.

Mr. Davidson's wildflower watercolors are currently featured in solo =
exhibitions at the Nat'l Park Visitor Centers at Death Valley Nat'l Park =
and Amistad Nat'l Recreation Area. They also form part of the permanent =
collection at Big Thicket Nat'l Preserve. He is also the illustrator of =
a soon be published guide to flowering native plants of the Granite =
Mountains (written by Jim Andre) for the University of California Nature =
Reserve System, as well as a contributor to the NATIVE PLANTS JOURNAL =
and THE USDA NATIVE PLANT DATA BASE.
