Paul--depending on their location, these industrial wind turbines can have a very negative impact on wildlife. I suggest that you check out some of the large bat/bird kills in the Appalachians--especially as such kills have been realized recently in West Virginia. Not to mention the fact that they require the clearing of ridge tops in such areas (that is much "green" = habitat is lost).
