Visiting Aquatic Biologist- SUNY Fredonia

SUNY Fredonia seeks candidates for a visiting one-year position in Aquatic 
Biology to begin in 
August 2006.  A separate search for a tenure track position is expected to 
begin in Fall 2006.  
Candidates should be strongly committed to teaching and will be encouraged to 
involve 
undergraduates in short-term research projects.  The candidate will teach an 
introduction to 
environmental sciences for majors, a course in environmental sciences methods, 
and an upper 
level aquatic course in the candidate’s area of expertise.  The candidate will 
also teach a non-
majors biology course.  Lake Erie and other freshwater sites are attractive 
assets very close to 
campus.  The department has equipment and resources to support aquatic research 
projects.

SUNY Fredonia is a selective public undergraduate liberal arts university.  Our

Candidates must possess a 
Ph.D.; postdoctoral research experience is desired.  The complete application
