A nonscience colleague of mine is working on a translation of a paper from Polish to English and contacted me concerning the translation of anthropopression. This word is/was totally unfamiliar to me, but a Google search shows it to be used fairly commonly in some of the Polish ecological literature -especially in terms of human related disturbances. My question is does anyone out there have an idea of the true sense in which this word is being used. =20
