Register today for the 1st Annual GRADUATE RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM, 2007 Theme: GLOBAL CHANGE
You are invited to attend the 1st annual Graduate Research Symposium, showcasing the diversity of graduate student research in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management at UC Berkeley. The symposium will be held at 159 Mulford Hall on the UC Berkeley campus on *Saturday, April 28, 2007* from 8am to 6pm. The one-day Graduate Symposium will feature student presentations, a poster session, catered lunch, reception and keynote speaker Gretchen Daily. Students will present a wide variety of research under the broad theme of the Symposium this year "Global Change: Interdisciplinary investigations of the causes, processes and effects of global change at the local, regional, and global scales." The theme is intended to capture the diverse research of graduate students in the Department and encompasses several topic areas, such as ecosystem services, climate change, land use and management, environmental governance and others.
