Position in Environmental Analyst in Biogeochemistry The Academy of Natural Sciences' Patrick Center for Environmental Research seeks an Environmental Analyst in Biogeochemistry. The successful individual will operate and maintain an elemental analyzer coupled to a Delta Plus IRMS for 13C and 15N analyses of dissolved and particulate organic and inorganic materials. Familiarity with other standard analytical techniques (e.g., ion chromatography, gas chromatography, vacuum line extractions, chlorophyll and other water quality analyses, etc.) in fresh and fresh and marine waters is highly desirable. Expect field sampling in terrestrial and aquatic environments. Qualifications should include an M.S. (preferred) or B.S. (with relevant work experience) in ecology, oceanography, biology, chemistry, geology, or closely related discipline, with strong laboratory skills in biogeochemical methodology (isotope biogeochemistry preferred). Salary is commensurate with experience.
