FIELD TECHNICIAN POSITIONS AT THE JORNADA EXPERIMENTAL RANGE IN THE
NORTHERN CHIHUAHUAN DESERT (New Mexico State University, Las Cruces,
New Mexico, USA): $9 - 12 commensurate with education and experience.
Temporary, no housing provided, 4-6 months with high potential for
conversion to permanent position or possible graduate work depending
on performance and funding. Successful candidate must be a US citizen
with a valid driver's license and the ability to lift and carry 50
lbs. Start as soon as possible. Collect/record data in the field for
vegetation and soil sampling on monitoring and research projects.

technicians in the northern Chihuahuan Desert on research projects
designed to increase our understanding of desert ecology and our
ability to sustainably manage arid and semi-arid ecosystems
