Great question, Michael!  I wonder if a Gmail account could be used for 
this?  Certainly, if you pasted your daily notes into an email message to a 
dedicated gmail account, you could use Gmail's search capabilities to find 
them later by with any combination of terms.  I'm not sure how you might 
generate a report, however.  If possible it would be great if you could post 
a sum of the responses you get.
