Hello,

Forest data and metadata for numerous sites in the Northeastern U.S. can
be found online at the State University of New York, College of
Environmental Science and Forestry's FOReST project website:

http://forest.esf.edu/projectbackground.html

The long-term forest data from three ESF properties - Heiberg Forest,
Huntington Wildlife Forest <http://www.esf.edu/aec>, and Pack Forest -
are long-term Continuous Forest Inventory plots; other Northeastern
sites were more recently mapped and measured. Data can be downloaded
or viewed here:

Dear All,

I am looking for information regarding world-wide existing long-term
permanent mapped tree plots, regional or international network
of monitoring permanent plots (with individually numbered trees, similar
to those long-term mapped tree plots in Harvard Forest and
Duke Forest, and BCI 50-hectare permanent tree plot). Any leads (such as
the names of projects/networks, web links, or references)
would be greatly appreciated.

Weimin
