A few ideas for the list's consideration...

Population growth -- the world's religions most recognize and accept their
role in perpetuating the problem and their significant responsibility
towards its resolution.

Migration -- the avoidance of persistant disease can be considered to be
one of the major forces contributing to the evolution of migration in
certain instances.

Human evolution -- the rapid increase of brain capacity in hominids may
well be associated with increasing numbers of individuals relative to
numbers of available and suitable living sites (caves) requiring a higher
degree of cooperation between non-related individuals.

Adaptive reciprocity -- the concept deserves greater consideration and can
be broadened beyond the coevolutionary relationship between species to
include the dynamic affective relationship between life <=> environment, an
individual <=> group (society), group <=> group, or any functional catagory
to any other.

Future of mankind -- humans are an infant species, likely be around for at
least another 100,000 years.
