Funding is available to support a PhD or MS student to pursue thesis research on the ecology of Chagas disease in Peru. Perspective students or students at any institution looking for a thesis project, with an interest in vector ecology, epidemiology, spatial ecology, or entomology are encouraged to apply. Work will be conducted in Arequipa, Peru, in coordination with researchers at the Fogarty International Center (NIH), the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and the CDC. Must speak Spanish or be willing to learn quickly and be willing to spend most of the year in Peru.
