National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) Visiting Scientists and
Educators

NEON, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of funding for Visiting
Scientists and Educators. Reporting to the NEON Chiefs of Science and
Education, visitors will provide specific input to the scientific and
education development of the Observatory. Visiting Scientists and
Educators from a wide range of disciplines will complement the permanent
NEON staff with a diversity of knowledge and skills. Visitors will provide
substantive input into NEON plans and are expected to produce concrete
products related to observational and experimental design, facilities
development, measurement protocols, data processing algorithms, and
education program development. Visiting scientists and educators may be
asked to write planning documents, assist with technical decisions,
organize and lead workshops, and participate in candidate site visits,
along with other activities as agreed upon with the Chiefs of Science and
Education
