The 2009 annual meeting of the American Institute of Biological Sciences brings together plenary speakers, panelists, and discussion groups, from both the basic and applied life sciences to examine cross cutting topics. This year's meeting, the theme of which addresses food sustainability, supply, and security, is a Year of Science 2009 event and will also feature presentations on public understanding of science.
