Conservation of Threatened Species and Habitats

One of the world’s major botanical gardens specializing in desert plants seeks 
an individual to direct an expanded and enhanced conservation program. The 
successful applicant will have (1) training in botany and the ecology of rare 
species, (2) knowledge of conservation policy issues and governmental 
regulatory frameworks and (3) experience in implementing conservation measures. 
The Program Director will be a member of the Research Department and report to 
the Director of Research. Responsibilities include program development and 
management, collaboration with other conservation organizations and 
governmental agencies, and seeking extramural funding for program initiatives. 
Ph.D. and strong supervisory skills are required. Send C.V., a 1-page
