Hi Rogelio Rodriguez,

These are perhaps more general in scope and limited in areas covered
than you wanted, but for plant distributions in rhe US and Canada, by
states and provinces, the following are useful.

http://plants.usda.gov/ (US and Canada)

for species that are rare in some part of their range in US or Canada

Subject: Database & Maps for Plant Distributions

>Hi I'm trying to find a good source for plant distributions but for
either single species or groups. I'm familiar with similar resources
for a nimals such as MaNIS but I was wondering if there is one for
plants that some herbariums have compiled where you can download data
and map the specimens. Maybe any GIS layers for single species or
groups I have layers on vegetation classification but looking for
something more specific.

Thanks

Rogelio Rodriguez
