associated lab sections. The nine month appointment commences August 23, 2010.
Opportunities for teaching during the summer for additional compensation are
available. This position is non-tenure track and is annually renewable; a
multi-year appointment is potentially available after the second year. Salary
is competitive and dependent on candidate's qualifications and experience.

Requirements include a graduate degree in natural or physical sciences and the
applicant should have substantial teaching experience, preferably at the
post-secondary level, as well as experience in laboratory and/or field
instruction, and curriculum development. The applicant should also be familiar
with recent science education reforms, and be comfortable with student-centered
and inquiry-based approaches to science teaching.
