Fellow Ecologgers:

I'm a relatively new professor at a small school in southeastern Wisconsin.
We are looking to add an Ornithology course to our curriculum and I am
struggling to find teaching specimens.

Does anyone out there have any excess specimens they would be willing to
donate? Ideally, we would find specimens that are already prepared, but we
will gladly accept frozen ones as well and can arrange to cover the shipping
costs.

We have the appropriate state and federal salvage permits, and have been
slowly accumulating window kills, but I have to believe there are specimens
out there with limited research value (missing data on location, date,
collector, etc.) that could find a new home helping our students learn basic
identification skills.

Sincerely,

Dave
