I recently graduate from the State University of Milan with a MSc in Natural
Sciences; during my thesis “Density and habitat suitability model for Alpine
marmot (Marmota m. marmota) in Veglia-Devero natural Park, Occidental Alps”, I
analysed the ecology of this rodent using ecological niche-factor analysis
(ENFA - BioMapper software) and Arc View 3.1 for mapping, data integration and
other analyses.
I am very interest in mammals ecology and conservation and am experienced
working in the field with different taxa including grouses, ungulates and
carnivores, on my own or as part of a research team.
I’m currently looking for grants or a scholarship to start a PhD and gaining
more work experience is a way, not only to obtain an income, but also to
broaden my knowledge and further define my research interests.
If you have an intern or technician position available after september I will
be happy to provide my CV and references for your consideration.

Best regards

Andrea Mosini
