Hi, I am looking at purchasing cameras for bird nest monitoring in the tropics. Nests maybe quite a walk through the forest and possibly high up so I hope to find equipment which is light and does not need big batteries and can be left for a while in tropical conditions. Since last I monitored nests with cameras I have heard that technology has advanced considerably. I was wondering if I could get some recommendations on equipment and pros and cons of different models? I will post all results for the benefit of the list.
