I'm starting in on a project related to oxidative stress associated with the inhalation of fine particulate... I'm curious to know, does anyone have a "home-spun" technique for collecting ambient air fine particulate samples? I'd like to be able to see whats in the air in my metro area. Is such a thing possible without purchasing an air quality monitoring device? Do I have no idea what I'm talking about? I'm out of my element and don't know really where to start. Any advice on air particulate sampling would be greatly appreciated!
