Dear all,

Wanted: opportunities to help out with ecological fieldwork!

I recently submitted my PhD thesis on fire ecology, at the Australian
National University. I am hoping to spend some time over the next few months
broadening my research experience across diverse ecosystems and topics. My
aim is simply to get out and see some of the world whilst contributing to
science research, and gaining some more experience at the same time.

If anyone needs any fieldwork volunteers for their project, from August
onwards, please contact me – I am also happy to send you my CV/references
for further information. I am experienced in flora and fauna survey work,
including measurement of plant traits, and am also happy to help out with
any data entry, GIS work or other jobs that may be doing. I am quick to
learn new tasks, have good plant identification skills, am hard working and
very reliable. I have also studied Indonesian, so if there is anyone working
there, or who knows of someone else, who may require some fieldwork
assistance then I’d be particularly keen. However I am happy (and have the
funds) to travel anywhere!

Regards,

Lyndsey Vivian
