Hi! Apurba
I currently used " Spatial Analysis: A Guide for Ecologists (Fortin & Dale
20002)" as my guide book , which may be more in to spatial statistics field.

It does provide some great ideas for how to analyze ecological data.

I am also reading a book called "Ecological data: Design, Management and
Processing (Eds: Michener & Brung)".

Some chapters provide the basic principles for conducting statistical analysis
in ecological research.

Hope my information is useful for your needs. :)
