CALL FOR PAPERS The Journal of the Torrey Botanical Society is now accepting manuscripts for 2011. This is the oldest botanical journal in the Americas and has been in continuous publication since 1870. The primary goal of the journal is the dissemination of knowledge in all areas of organismic botany with a geographic emphasis on the Western hemisphere. A broad range of manuscripts are permitted including empirical and theoretical studies, as well as review papers, in most areas of plant biology, especially plant ecology (as it relates to ECOLOG). There is NO charge for publication in the journal. Color plates are available at a reasonable cost. All papers are rigorously peer-reviewed. The journal is abstracted and indexed by most major services. Electronic issues are available worldwide through BioOne and JSTOR. Authors can submit and track manuscripts using the online manuscript tracking and peer review system: http://www.edmgr.com/torrey/.
