The Department of Biology at Mount Allison University invites applications for 
a full-time 12-
month term position.  Applicants should possess a Ph.D. and have a strong 
commitment to 
undergraduate teaching. We are seeking someone to teach Biology 3811 
(Conservation Biology), 
and courses from among Biology 4711 (Advanced Design and Statistical Analysis), 
and introductory 
Biology for both majors and non-majors.

The appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor and 
will commence on 
July 1, 2011 (negotiable), subject to budgetary approval. Applications should 
include a curriculum 
vitae, and a statement of the candidate’s teaching interests and philosophy.

will begin on June 10, 2011 and will continue until the position is filled. 
Applicants should provide
