The Center for Excellence in Education is seeking
individuals in the field of ecology/biology to
develop multiple choice and non-multiple choice
questions for the 2012 USA Biology Olympiad
(USABO) Exams. All questions should focus on
reasoning, problem solving and understanding and
should test students understanding, science
process skills and application of biological
knowledge. Deadlines for question submission are as follows:
· October 17, 2011 Open Exam: 3 to 5 Multiple choice questions
· November 11, 2011 Semifinal Exam: 6 to 10
Multiple choice questions and 1 to 2 Short answer or Essay questions
· December 16, 2011 National Theoretical Exam: (6
to 10 Multiple choice questions)
