Plant Biology Position Search #64638 Georgia Southern Universitys Department of Biology invites applications for a Plant Biology position. The Plant Biology position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, with preference given to the ability to teach plant physiology and/or genetics. Research that can complement an integrative program exploring the biology of the Southeastern coastal plain is especially welcome. Required qualifications: Ph.D. by December 31, 2011; Demonstrated excellence in research; Potential to attract extramural funding; Expertise to teach Plant Physiology and/or Genetics. Preferred Qualifications: Post-doctoral experience. Screening of applications begins November 14, 2011 and continues until the position is filled. The preferred position starting date is August 1, 2012. A complete application consists of a cover letter addressing the qualifications cited above; a curriculum vitae; statements of research interests and teaching interests/philosophy; three letters of reference.
