A postdoctoral position in Environmental Microbiology is available at the University of Haifa, Oranim, Tivon, Israel in the group of Dr. Malka Halpern. The overall objective of the project is to advance current knowledge on the ecology and virulence factors of Legionella spp. populations in freshwater systems. The project is financially supported by the DFG (German Research Association) and is a trilateral cooperation between German, Israeli, and Palestinian scientists. Postdoctoral fellows and recent PhD students with skills in molecular biology and biochemistry are encouraged to apply.
