Dear students and colleagues,
 
I would like to draw your attention to an upcoming conference on health and 
environment, to be held in Doha, Qatar (home of the 2022 FIFA World Cup) March 
26-29, 2012.   Although the focus of the conference is mutagens, sessions 
concerning health and environment in general will suit everyone. 
 
The VIth International Conference on Environmental Mutagens in Human 
Populations will held in Doha, March 26-29, 2012. Students are especially 
encouraged to apply as their costs will be subsidized and multiple awards 
offered.
 
Currently symposium topics include:
 
Environmental contamination and health concerns
Specific environmental health concerns in developing countries
Basic mechanisms of mutagenesis and carcinogenesis
DNA repair and signaling in response to insult from environment
Environmental contamination in adverse reproductive outcome
Biomarkers for human population studies
Epigenetics and gene-environment interactions in human disease
Genomic and proteomic technologies in environmental health
Application of scientific knowledge for disease prevention
Novel strategies to protect against environmental mutagenesis
Legal and ethical issues in environmental health
