The Department of Biology at Carleton College invites applications for a 
full-time, one year temporary 
faculty position in the area of ecosystems ecology during the 2012-2013 
academic year. Teaching 
responsibilities may include an upper-level course in Ecosystems Ecology with 
laboratory, a non-
majors course in Global Change Biology, an upper-level course in the 
candidate’s area of expertise, 
such as aquatic biology, and participation in introductory-level labs. 
Candidates should be committed 
to excellence in undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts environment, and must 
have or be near 
completion of a Ph.D. in biology or related field.
