Dear ECOLOG-L members,

I am in the process of generating distribution maps for several species
using herbarium specimen records. However, many of the records only
indicate locality, with no GPS coordinates. I have tried using GeoLocate,
but this program only georeferences localities in the US, Mexico, and
Canada (My records include a worldwide sample). I would like to try
Biogeomancer but the website seems to be down. I have many records, making
manual georeferencing in a program like Google Earth unreasonable.

Does anyone here have any suggestions? I will compile responses in a
follow-up email.

Thanks in advance,
Lauren Eserman
