I second Chris! I studied abroad in New Zealand last year and had an
incredible experience. I cannot recommend Frontiers Abroad enough!
Their programs are lead by professors from the University of Auckland
and University of Canterbury and involve a semester at one of those
universities, as well as a six-week field camp before the semester
begins. During field camp, students design and implement independent
projects which they then work on through the course of their time in
New Zealand. I participated on the Frontiers Abroad Earth System
Science program and my project involved using GPR to examine a
potential fault next to a hospital in Whakatane.
You can find more information about all of the Frontiers Abroad New
Zealand Earth Science programs here: http://www.frontiersabroad.com/

Sophie

and a GIS course. The country is also fantastic for ecologists and
students
who love the outdoors. Hope this helps.

Hello All,
A large number of students on our campus do Study Abroad
semseters. I
currently have two options, Denmark and Costa Rica. Are there other
options for students with interests in ecology or environmental
science?
Thanks for your time.
