A M. Sc. student is sought to undertake research in the application
of RADARSAT-2 polarimetric SAR images to map fuel moisture content
over Western Canada grasslands and South African savannas under the
co-supervision of Dr. Brigitte Leblon (University of New Brunswick,
Fredericton, Canada) and Dr. Joseph Buckley (Royal Military College,
Kingston, Canada)
The position is located in Canada. However, the M.Sc. student will
spend the first year of the M.Sc. program in Europe under a HRSDC
scholarship, the second year being funded by a NSERC grant. At the
end of the M.Sc. program, the student will receive one M.Sc. degree
from the European university and one from UNB.
