Greetings, Last year there was a helpful wiki page dedicated to ecology and evolution academic job postings (see below). However, it seems that the account was suspended for the webpage. Does anyone know what the status is of this wiki and whether it will be up and running again? If not, is there a replacement site already formed?
Thanks, Julie Julie Jedlicka, PhD NSF Postdoctoral Fellow Dept of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management University of California Berkeley [email protected] http://nature.berkeley.edu/~jedlicka/ Begin forwarded message: From: Ecojobs Admin <[email protected]> Subject: [ECOLOG-L] A new ecology and evolution jobs and discussion forum Date: March 18, 2011 9:01:51 PM PDT To: [email protected] Reply-To: Ecojobs Admin <[email protected]> We just launched a new ecology and evolutionary biology jobs forum. The forum is intended to represent a candid and reliable venue for people to share and discuss job vacancies and other topics related to the academic environment, particularly as they pertain to the fields of ecology and evolutionary biology. The forum is similar in terms of content to the "ecology jobs wiki" but with a bit more structure and (with any luck) less inaccuracies, deletions, vandalism, etc. The forum also includes several areas dedicated to discussion of academic and non-academic issues. Similar to ecolog, in a way, though your posts will appear immediately (and thus can be responded to by others right away). So whether or not you're on the job market, we encourage you to come by, register on the site, and join the discussion with other ecologists and evolutionary biologists. The site is brand new so it's very quiet right now. We're relying on you, the ecology and evolutionary biology community, to help this site realize its potential. Please join us! http://ecologyandevolutionjobs.invisionzone.com/
