Can any of you help this fine lady in NY State. She was kind enough a couple of years back to bring us one of her BOCES groups to Hawaii.
That has changed a bit and now in Hawaii, it is Chuck Blay, Ph.D. all the way. As some of you know, his co. is teok.com. Dr. Blay is quite hopeful and has done some of his Geological work in Ecuador, to bring a group to Galapagos. Some New Yorkers know Charles Blay, Ph.D. You have done one of his incredible seminars. There will be one fixed departure date for summer 2013, meaning that individuals, etc. can join in. For those of you that know him....does it get much better than Chuck Blay? So, some Microsope help for Kelly Lange? Her e-mail is: [email protected] Please give her some assistance here. Thanks to the late Kim Foglia, I will be sharing some web links and not attached files. Sounds strange, but I have now forgotten all that she taught me. So, not totally forgotten. Future posts will be web links. In the mean-time, if you could assist Kelly Lange, that would be great. Thank you. Mike Nolan...see below Hello everyone, I will be teaching LE for the first time this year. This is also the first opportunity for 8th graders at my middle school to take LE. All supplies were ordered over the summer. When I went in today, there were two types of compound microscopes. I am a bit perplexed. We have always used the compound scopes with our 8th grade. We use a monocular scope with 40x-400x and simple stage clips. The new scopes included more of the same and there were also some with an oil immersioan lens and spring loaded stage clips. Which microscopes should I be teaching the students to use? Do I need both? Thanks in advance Kelly Lange ENMS ---------- If we are on another line or away from the phone, please leave your number, best time to return your call and your e-mail address.
