Hello Ecologers, We are looking for some advice for night vision scopes or binoculars. We are initiating a study of the effectiveness of deer delineators (roadside headlight reflectors) in changing deer/ungulate road crossing behavior at night time. We plan to do night time observations of deer/ungulates to determine if, in fact, the reflectors cause them to stop off of the road while a car is passing. We have budgeted $7,000 to purchase 2 night vision scopes or binoculars (or one of each). Can anyone with some experience with night vision technology make recommendations for us?
