I know of at least 2:

The trophic state index (TSI), which the state of Minnesota uses; and, a
new one, the TDO3, developed by Minnesota DNR (Peter Jacobsen), which
indicates which lakes will have a DO less than 3, based on temperature,
morphometry, average total P, and day of the year.
