We are ready to begin taking applications for our summer research program "SURF (Summer Undergraduate Research Focus) - Climate Change, Global Warming, and the Health of Texas Bays and Estuaries," which runs for 10-weeks this summer (June 4-August 8 2013). Research activities available to students center around various aspects of the health and functioning of coastal, nearshore, and offshore environments on the central Texas Gulf of Mexico.
