http://www.environmentalhealthnews.org/ehs/news/2013/bpa-dispute has a report today of the issue of BPA in humans, that presents a nice summary of the debate between toxicologists, who specialize in analyzing data with mathematical models, producing information often used to set regulatory limits on chemical exposures, and the scientists who study BPA's health effects in animals and people. This was the topic of some presentations this week at the AAAS meeting.

That organization puts out a daily news aggregation of environmental stories that you can subscribe to (for free; donations welcomed), which I often use to find a few current topics to start lectures for my ecology classes.
