The Eastern Michigan University Department of Biology invites applications for a tenure-track position in Ecology at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning August 2014. We seek individuals with a Ph.D., postdoctoral research experience, and evidence of teaching excellence and research productivity. Successful candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and be able to develop a productive research program involving undergraduate and Master's-level students. The successful candidate will be expected to teach General Ecology, which includes a writing intensive laboratory, and an upper division course in terrestrial ecology. Preference will be given to candidates who complement the expertise of the department.
