My name is Jeff Norman and I am a PhD student at Virginia Tech. I am currently working with a fellow student on a project modeling the growth of ammonia-oxidizing bacteria (AOB) and archaea (AOA) in soil. I am seeking data from pure-culture growth of AOB (preferably in Chemostats) in order to parameterize the model. I have already obtained this type of data for a soil AOA isolate. Specifically, I am looking for datasets that contain cell numbers, as well as ammonia, and nitrite concentrations during pure-culture growth, so that I can calculate an optimal value of "cells produced/mol ammonia oxidized."
