In addition to the usual technical discussions and continued work on our own possible online conference, the Groundwater Wetlands Study Group is pleased to report that our proposal to hold a special session on groundwater wetlands at the Joint Aquatics Sciences Meeting in Portland, Oregon, USA has been approved by the JASM organizing committee (see http://sws.org/ or https://www.freshwater-science.org/). We have confirmed the involvement of a number of respected professionals for our session.
