Dear all: This summer, I am interested in volunteering as a research assistant for a project focused on the influence of anthropogenic effects on plant mutualism (e.g., mycorrhizae, plant-pollinator interactions).
I have field, lab, and computer (e.g., R programming) experience. My background is in botany, community ecology, landscape ecology, and urban ecology. I also have experience with science outreach and promoting science literacy. To offset travel and living costs, a stipend or honorarium is preferred. If the volunteer position is without financial compensation, I ask that free accommodation (e.g., house sitting, field station) and food are provided.
