I will conducting a radio telemetry study on Old-World fruit bats. I'm ordering transmitters and am seeking advice on pulse rate. I will be using radios with an activity switch. The current pulse rate configuration would be 35 ppm for active bats and 12 ppm for roosting bats. I'm concerned that this may not be a frequent enough pulse. I can still change my order. Any thoughts on this?
