When I was still in the classroom, before Rainforest and
Reef....developed a relationship with regional U.S. Customs office
around the U.S. and also the USFWS regional offices, and especially the
USFWS Forensics Lab in Oregon. Their donations to my classroom were
staggering.
Here is the Forensics Lab, all other contacts are easliy found on the web.

Whale Baleen, many samples; Sperm Whale teeth; a poached Polar Bear
skin; Grizzly Bear claws; Bald Eagle talons and much more. All were put
to great use.
Also, there is the excellent Marine Mammal listserve. I can post your
