Hi, my name is Jordan Rogan I am a recent graduate of Wheaton College,
Massachusetts with a B.A. in Environmental Science and I am currently
researching suitable MA/PhD programs for the Fall of 2015. I am primarily
looking into Ecology and Evolutionary Biology programs specifically with a
conservation biology focus studying birds or other vertebrates such as
mammals. I am seeking a program that would be fully funded if possible, but
I understand that such funds may not always be available. I have research
experience working as an intern in a graduate school lab at Rice University
and from an independent field study I conducted at my undergraduate
institution. I also have experience as a teaching assistant in a 100 level
undergraduate biology course. I have an interest in studying the tropics and
would be interested in a program that conducts research in such areas
outside of the country, though I am also very open to other programs that
are a suitable fit for me and my interests that study areas within the U.S.
and around the location of the institution. If you have openings for
students for next fall or are aware of such openings in a lab conducting
research within these areas and think that I may be a suitable candidate,
please contact me at [email protected] and I can send my CV,
undergraduate transcript, contact information for references and any other
information that may be of assistance in assessing my suitability for the
particular program. Thank you for your time and consideration and I look
forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Jordan Rogan
